How We Work?

1) Enquiry:

Getting enquiry is the first step of our work process. The person who is moving to and from India informs us about the requirements like moving date, country and quantity of goods to be moved etc. along with other vital information.

2) Pre Move Survey:

Generally an enquiry is enough for us to offer our best quote, but sometimes pre-move survey is required if it is a total relocation. We arrange a pre-move survey at the residence of the client:

To inspect the goods that needs to be shipped.
To identify the delicate and valuable articles
To measure goods to calculate the volume
To assess manpower and materials requirement
To check the feasibility for loading, parking and movement of vehicle, etc.

During this process, we explain you the moving process, clear your queries, suggest you about the appropriate means of transport and plan the dates for packing (if required) & moving. Above all, we help you to plan your move economically and efficiently.

3) Quotation:

The quotation is prepared on the basis of the enquiry that we received from you or on the basis of your survey report. It gives complete information to the prospective clients about services included/excluded in our quotation, so that the client gets aware about the extra expenses to be incurred at the destination (if any).

Generally the following information is provided in our quotation:

The estimated volume/chargeable weight of the consignment
Mode of shipment (via air freight or sea freight)
Price & Port of entry
Payment terms
Insurance premium (if opted)
Terms & conditions of carriage
Validity of the estimate & all other related information

4) Documentation, Packing & Pickup:

You can download the list/format of required documents from the document section of our website. These documents are complete (except packing list) and you just need to fill your name, passport number and signature. Once the documentation work is done the next step is packing of the goods that can be done either by you “self-packing” or by us “Partial packing service”

Self-packing is best and you can save your money. If you prefer to do part of packing yourself, we will provide you empty boxes and other packing materials. You may also hire us for partial packing service to pack items like large furniture, art, fragile items, lamps and similar goods. Once the documentation is completed and goods are packed, our packing crew loads the goods in our van and transports it to our warehouse.

5) Crating / Storage:

Once the goods reach our warehouse, they are off-loaded. And then wooden crates are made by our team of carpenters according to the size of the goods. Crating helps to avoid any theft, pilferage and damage etc of the goods during transit and ensures easy handling. We may also store your goods in our well-equipped ware house for a time being, in case your accommodation at the destination is yet to be finalized.

6) Export Markings:

Once the crating is done, the crates are inscribed with export markings. This makes them easy to recognize during the transit and even when they reach the destination.

7) Customs Clearance:

Then the goods are taken to the designated airport/ sea port where the goods are weighed and measured to find the actual chargeable weight. After the finalization of the chargeable weight the next step is of custom examination, where the goods are inspected and allowed for the export by the customs officials. After completing all these formalities goods are handed over to the authorized airline or shipping line to load them onto the shipping container or Aircraft for onward carriage.

8) Post Shipment Documents:

Once the shipment is handed over to the concerned airline or shipping line we deliver the post shipment documents to the shipper. These documents should be kept safe as they may be required at the destination port.

9) Shipment Monitoring:

Once the shipment is dispatched, we keep track of the shipment at all the stages and update you the status from time to time. At destination, you may contact our counterpart or wait for our counterpart to get in touch with you. For smooth clearance, if any documentation is required that will be done by our counterpart, once they get in touch with you.

10) Destination Service:

After the shipment reaches to its destination port, our counterpart will clear it through customs and arrange the delivery of the same at your residence (Kerbside) after finalizing the date & time suitable to you.
